چکیده
Heritability estimates of traits assist breeders in optimizing cultivar development and can help predict gain from selection breeding programs. Narrow-sense heritabilities were measured agronomic glycoside concentration four elite stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) populations using half-sib family analysis. Gain at 20% intensity was estimated for morphological, yield, traits. Experiments conducted two field locations North Carolina. Variation observed across cultigens including stem height, branch width, leaf size, both subjective objective measurements. Yield, lodging resistance, disease percent survival showed a high genetic variation cultigens. In addition, glycosides Reb A, C, D also by cultigen. plant morphological highest moderate yield width. However, other such as area resistance low heritability (0.10). Glycosides D, stevioside total steviol (TSG) heritability. The per year height (24 mm/year), (131 mm2/year) (dry weight) (1.2 Mg/ha year) suggest significant improvements are possible cycle. TSG A (26.44 mg/g, 14.51%), C (20.20 20.17%), (1.70 1.49%), (6.73 10.72%), (20.90 mg/g), similarly, indicate gains

Variance components, heritability estimates, and breeding values for performance test traits in Old Kladruber horses
The Old Kladruber horse is an important Czech genetic resource. In the current study, two categories of traits were evaluated – the first, a numerical score for Type and Gender Expression and the second, 11 traits describing performance divided into four categories: (1) Rideability (Overall Impression, Rideability), (2) Gaits (Walk, Trot, Canter), (3) Carriage Drivability (Dressage Test, Obstac...
متن کاملSimultaneous Selection for Seed Yield and Agronomic Traits in Sunflower
Selection of high yielding genotypes is very important in sunflower. Thus, 24 new sunflower hybrids along with Golsa cultivar were evaluated in a simple lattice design (5×5) with two replications in the Agriculture Research Station of Gorgan, north of Iran, during 2020. The genotype by yield × trait (GYT) biplot method was used in order to study the relationships between different traits and to...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Association Mapping for Yield and Other Agronomic Traits in an Elite Breeding Population of Tropical Rice (Oryza sativa)
Genome-wide association mapping studies (GWAS) are frequently used to detect QTL in diverse collections of crop germplasm, based on historic recombination events and linkage disequilibrium across the genome. Generally, diversity panels genotyped with high density SNP panels are utilized in order to assay a wide range of alleles and haplotypes and to monitor recombination breakpoints across the ...
